Posted: July 14, 2005
Grassroots Republican activist leaders from throughout Delaware have outlined their goals and initiated an action plan to impact elections in Delaware for the next decade.
Republican leaders from representative districts all over the state gathered Tuesday evening in Smyrna to discuss strategy and planning.
The following goals were established:
n Register 4,350 new Republicans in Delaware by Election Day ’06
n Identify the political beliefs of 18,440 voters by Election Day ’06
n Recruit a chair and vice chair in every election district by New Year’s Day ’06
“These goals are substantive, attainable, and will have a tremendous impact not only in the ’06 elections, but on the political landscape in Delaware for years to come,” said GOP Chairman Terry A. Strine. “We have an incredible group of dynamic people leading this Party on the grassroots level – I’m excited to see all that we will accomplish.”
