All three positions – communications director and two regional field organizers – were filled by applicants with connections to the state. Alexander Snyder-Mackler, the communications director, was raised in Newark and still resides there. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and most recently worked on campaigns in New Jersey. Renee Bensley of Camden and Kristin Dwyer of Wilmington are the new field organizers. They will work together and cover the entire state. Bensley is a graduate of Wesley College and previously worked on Brian Bushweller’s campaign for the state Senate and as a senior paginator for Independent Newspapers Inc. Dwyer is a graduate of Albright College and has a background in local politics. She worked for the Reading City Council and city clerk while at Albright, and she also worked on Lois Murphy’s congressional campaign, one of the most hotly contested in the country in 2004. ### |
