CASTLE: RESPONSE TO IRAQ RESOLUTION

U.S. Rep. Michael N. Castle, R-Del., released this statement on the signing of the Iraq resolution by President Bush:

"It remains my hope that the United States, working with the international community, can disarm Saddam Hussein without being required to use military force.  This bipartisan resolution will provide the United States with additional leverage to encourage the United Nations to craft a new, tough Security Resolution concerning unfettered access for weapons inspectors.  Our goal should be to improve the security of all nations by disarming Saddam Hussein."
