TRICK OR TREAT FOR JUSTICE

Most of all, Johnston took the occasion to walk away from one of the scariest jobs in legal circles -- her previous work as the chief disciplinary counsel, policing lawyers' conduct.

CHANCERY BECOMES A LEGACY COURT

When Donald F. Parsons Jr. was installed Thursday as a vice chancellor, he became the third judge on the five-member Court of Chancery who once clerked for U.S. District Judge James L. Latchum. Naturally the ceremony felt like a reunion with a lot of tattling and a lot of laughter.

LIEBERMAN COMES CALLING

A VICMEAD HUNT FOR MIKE CASTLE

Delaware Republicans were all set Friday to salute U.S. Rep. Michael N. Castle at the Vicmead Hunt Club, except for one thing. No congressman. Castle, flying back from a fact-finding trip to Iraq, was delayed and had to hook up by loudspeaker. What he had to say, though, had everyone listening.

AT LEAST ONE BIDEN IS GETTING IN
