CAMPAIGNING FOR PRESIDENT,  DELAWARE STYLE

The presidential campaigns for Wesley K. Clark and Joseph I. Lieberman both showed up Monday evening for the Democratic Women's Club of Delaware, Clark's with an RV and Lieberman's with the candidate's wife. Only in Delaware would it be so polite that nothing but a Clark bar came between them.

BRANDYWINE GETS HUNDREDS AT REPUBLICAN MEETING

People in politics like elections so much they will come out to vote even when it does not count. The Brandywine Hundred Republicans got about 300 people to attend a fund-raiser by holding a straw poll for governor, lieutenant governor, New Castle County executive and County Council president.

LAURA BUSH CAPS A WEEK OF WIVES

First lady Laura W. Bush will be in Delaware on Monday, making the state a prime stop for the wives of presidential candidates.
