STATE GOP:
WELCOME TO PRESIDENT'S SISTER
Posted: Feb. 4, 2004
WILMINGTON -- Republican Party
Chairman Terry A. Strine welcomed Doro Bush Koch, sister of
President George W. Bush, to Delaware on Tuesday.
Doro Bush, an active member of the
Bush-Cheney ’04 campaign, spoke to a crowd of hundreds of
Delawareans at a rally for her brother, President George W. Bush.
“The President will always remember
that Delaware gave him his first Primary win in 2000,” Mrs. Bush
said. “He is now counting heavily on Delaware to carry him to
victory in 2004.”
Chairman Strine said this visit should
send a clear message to Delaware voters.
“President George W. Bush clearly
values Delaware and knows we can – and will – play a key role in his
victory this November,” Chairman Strine said.
